The HL 2070 is has a good speed and churns out a decent page per minute. Now since laser printers are all about being fast and furious along with good text prints this certainly does a good job. I did find however that photo printing is a bit slower. At higher resolutions it might slow down quite a bit. However I didn't find this printer to be very good at printing graphics. The printer has a problem with dithering and posterization.

I found that this printer tended to curl the pages a bit which in my opinion is bad paper handling. According to Brother this is going to be fixed in up coming models. This printer is for those people who require a good high quality text printer. However I would recommend that you don't buy this printer if you want to print graphics at a high resolution.

This printer has been set at a very good prince level and does a decent job. It excels at what laser printers are meant to do and that is print high quality text. It can still print small low resolution graphics but you shouldnt expect good results. However it does quite a good job at printing fine monochrome graphics which some word documents have.
